That said, other than ones that you can adjust the diopter on like the Leupold or Vortex prismatic scopes, red dots are few and far between that work with astigmatism. Pretty sure he was poking around with a few different optics last I mentioned him in a thread a few months ago, but don't take that at face value as my memory really sucks most days. I've tried more than a few myself, but he's generally more knowledgeable than I am on this sort of thing. But the size looks good and it will take the standard T1/Aimpoint micro mounts when it's has tried a lot of optics over the years trying to find a red dot that works well with astigmatism. My only complaints on that is any type of prism scope doesn't allow the use of a magnifier and that is where the ACSS dot really shines so doubt I end up with any. I don't think it's needed for astigmatism for everyone since the Holosun ACSS doesn't bother me but it may be a fix for some. Primary Arms also says they have a ACSS version coming out in a 1x prism scope as well. I can shoot much more accurately with that chevron tip then any standard dot or iron sights. The best thing about the ACSS is if you plan on using a magnifier, it literally turns the red dot into a scope! The reticle is just as large and just as clear as a scopes reticle with my 6x magnifier and allows you bullet drops to 600 yards and the chevron tip for a precise aiming point at any distance. The chevron with line under it really isn't that much bigger then the standard dot so it is still as easy to use as a regular dot as far as point and shoot and it has a horseshoe you can turn on to go around the chevron which is really nice and makes it much faster for me to get on target. If you do consider getting one of the ACSS dots you should know the bullet drop dots aren't really that usable on 1x and honestly the reticle looks like a tiny little line with a chevron at the tip. I have heard others say that Holosuns are just generally good for Astigmatism but I have never tried one of their regular dots.

It may not be the same for everyone, but it is extremely clear and crisp for me. Not only do I love the reticle and find it far superior to the standard dot or even circle dot but it has no distortion for me. One sight I have found that works great for me is the Primary Arms Holosun ACSS. I have a slight astigmatism and dots starburst a tad for me - some more then others.
